IRISH CELTIC MYTH!
The name ‘The Stray Sod’ comes from a traditional Irish Celtic myth. The origins of the tale in true Irish fashion have been lost in the mists of time. However, legends describe it as an enchanted clump of grass which triggers a magic spell once stepped upon. Under the influence of this spell, one loses all sense of direction, all familiar landmarks disappear and one wanders aimlessly. It is said that to cure this, one must turn all clothes inside out, so be careful because you never know where you might end up!
